How will these materials make a difference in your students' learning? These materials will help with engaging the students with one another. Whereby promote brainstorming, teaching with hands on materials, and learning how to create different models to demonstrate a possible solution to a problem. Will they be used for learning from home? No, 100% face to face. The lesson will introduce the 6 simple machines and how develop model to help doing work easier for all. For example, in this lesson students are given a problem of a school that is older but does not have an elevator. How can individuals who are unable to use the stairs get to the second floor of the school building? Students will look at cost, building codes, the school population, research about school building accessibility, create a model, and present to the administration.
