The materials that I have requested will have a significant impact on classroom culture, and how students function as independent learners. Photo cards are an engaging way to capture a student interest in a topic. I say "seeing is believing" they are great for boosting oral language and vocabulary skills as well! As an educator, I have learned that students react to out enthusiasm and motivation as well as our behaviors and strategies as a way to accomplish their own goals. Therefore we must support the education of our students by being an inspiration. What better way to do this than by getting the community involved. The Comprehension Toolkit series provides strategies that work to help students understand, respond to, and learn from nonfiction text, building background knowledge across the curriculum and throughout the year. Writing journal will help students to write more legibly. Writing is something that can factor problems that can affect achievement. I want to help students become better writers .
