As a first year Special Education teacher, I would really appreciate support and supplies that can help my students to thrive. Some of these materials will be used in the classroom to help students have a more kinestetic approach to learning, while some will be used to help broaden students' vocabulary. The students that I serve have differing abilities and need their learning to be provided in different ways, and they also need the freedom to express themselves in different ways. Some of these materials will help make this possible! As students who benefit from their learning being provided in different modalities, some of the items provide students with a more tactile approach. All first graders also do well with visual reminders that reinforce new vocabulary, and it will be especially beneficial for our bilingual students to have that support. The goal of this project is to really engage my students in learning.
