These book collections will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be exposed to quality literature. I plan on reading the books to my students and using them to teach life lessons and empathy. These books will give my students a window with which to see the world in a new way, so they can develop more empathy for those around them. It will also reflect some of the issues and challenges of being a fifth grader. They will learn from and be able to identify with the characters in these books.

About my class
