These materials will play a huge role in getting award winning Newbery books in the hands of upper elementary students. They will be able to read these books: in their homeroom classroom, in the library with me, and at their homes. These books will also ensure all students who wish to participate in our reading program have access to the books - and importantly - in the physical format. Having multiple sets of these books will help students read alongside their friends and classmates, thus creating a space for conversations around these texts.
