My school district is not a 1:1 organization. This laptop will be capable of running the professional level science software for AP Environmental Science, Dual Enrollment Marine Biology, and Astronomy. This professional level software will directly allow students to measure climate change, monitor ocean health, and contribute university quality astronomical images and sample radio spectra. My students are interested and motivated to do high level science but we are currently limited by provided hardware and software. While the software we need is free, the hardware we need is our current roadblock.
