Room Dividers help my students by limiting distractions and creating atmosphere that foster learning. By providing this, students will make great progress towards their learning goals. This idea is similar to adults working within a cubical. When we are overwhelmed, learning and required focus can become frustrating; structured sensory exploration can assist students in determining how they can approach overwhelming situations. Our sensory table would give the students opportunities to relate lessons to real world materials. It also is able to be filled with a variety of textures (sand, water, rice, etc.) for students to explore!
