Our students love any lab or activity that is hands-on! We will be learning about life cycles and food chains while also reviewing graphs and data. This activity will incorporate previously learned skills, excite them for future learning and get them engaged! Everyone who has ever picked through an owl pellet as a child remembers it as a cool science experience. I completed this activity in 6th grade and I want to share this memory with my students. It was fun and a great way to learn about the circle of life. Let's make it happen for my students!
