Currently, our classroom seating is comprised of single seating student desks that are warped and do not fit together well. This current arrangement is not only lacking in surface space to utilize the addition of technology into the classroom but also makes it difficult for students to work in groups. The addition of new tables into the classroom creates room for students to truly collaborate and participate in exploratory group activities, not only promoting a deeper understanding of the lessons but also promoting collaborative work skills that will be important for them in the future.
