We have been working on learning how to cut, write, make letters and numbers using sensory and motor skills (using things like play-doh). The kids have worked on identifying colors and numbers and need some new fun ways to continue learning these skills while strengthening their motor skills at the same time. The students learn best when they are provided with different ways to practice. The best way to strengthen their cognitive knowledge, as well as their physical strength, is to introduce as much tactile work as possible. Our students work so hard each day just to function in daily living.
