My students have transitioned to using technology so much that their penmanship has suffered. The lapboards will help address their penmanship skills and waste less paper. W.7.4 Because of Covid, students have been deprived of social interaction so much that it hinders their learning. I have found that having the fluorescent lights off significantly calms the students, but it would be nice to have a warm lighted lamp that would also help them relax and focus. As well as the use of the fidget toys. I am requesting books which are age, grade, and content standard appropriate. Covid has us relying on technology more and more, making it important to have a charged personal device to work on. Extra chargers will ensure that. The baker's rack will help keep our class self-contained, thus diminishing the chance of catching and spreading Covid. The markers, pencils, rulers will help students practice and develop their hand and eye coordination, which has suffered because of Covid. The games will help with their critical thinking skills, another area that was hindered by Covid. The decorations will help create a positive and inspiring classroom, which they did not have while stuck at home during Covid last year.
