Currently, my classroom is lit by bright, florescent lights which have been shown to cause excessive stress and anxiety in students. This project aims to help create a more comfortable learning environment for students by starting with the lighting. This project includes floor lamps, light covers, and light bulbs which are all aimed at creating softer lighting options. At the moment, all I can do is either have the lights on or have them off. On days where the weather is dismal, keeping the lights off is not an option. Therefore, students have to endure the painfully bright lights. Help my students have a more enjoyable learning environment by donating to my project to change the lighting options in my classroom. With your support, my students can enjoy coming to my classroom each day!
