My office is currently "just an office". One desk, a few plastic student chairs, bare walls and bright lights. By creating a friendly, caring environment students will benefit knowing there is someone who cares and has time to listen. Soft lights and comfortable chairs will help students relax both their minds and bodies. Some essential oils and a water fountain will support meditation when needing to "let go". This calm setting will help all students be relaxed and feel welcome when visiting my office. Parents will benefit for the same reason.
