The items that I am requesting will allow the students to learn in an environment that is engaging to them. I already have a few stools and boxes that my students BEG me to let them use instead of sitting at those awful, old desks! When my students are using seating that is a little bit more fun and welcoming-- their performance increases at exponential rates. The environment in which a teacher sets in his or her classroom is a catalyst for the productive and meaningful learning experiences that take place; not only academically, but socially as well.

About my class
