While my class is working hard on their STEM projects this year, we have run into a problem with our computers. They are not powerful enough. We are currently using Chromebooks for our class, and my more advanced students are at the point that they want to start using Autocad and Adobe Photoshop. My request involves getting them a computer that is powerful enough to run these and other programs. We are trying to give our students experience with real-world programs and applications that they will use in their post-high school and college careers.
