These materials will help to motivate students to use the many important learning strategies that they need to learn the science standards. We will be implementing many lessons on how to work collaboratively and appropriately in the classroom, particularly since my students need to participate in hands-on science experiments. Being away from school for so long has caused some students to lack the skills needed to work positively together in groups, to push through challenges, and to apply their knowledge to different situations. The materials I have purchased will be used to reward their behavior.
