It is important for individuals with autism to use their voice. What better way than to spread the word of Inclusion? With the help of leadership students, the heat press will will help my self-contained students have a voice, by creating awareness merchandise. The video equipment will help them to create videos to advertise and it will give them a creative outlet to spread awareness for the topics they are passionate about, mainly inclusion. With this equipment, my students will be able to build upon their collaboration, communication and problem solving skills. They will also be able to create visual representations for awareness and also help to spread the word for various events. The other supplies will help my students create signs and other memorabilia to further spread their positive messages throughout our community.
