My students are in need of flexible seating options, especially when they are in their general education Kindergarten classes. The wobble stools, balance boards, ball chairs, and balloon seats will provide my students a way to move and get the much needed sensory input they need to be actively listening and participating, all while they are not disturbing the other students. While the stools and cushions make sitting more fun and comfortable. This project requests Wobble Chairs, Carry Me cushions, Balloon Seats, plastic stack stools, Stay-N-Play Balance Balls, a Moluk Bilibo, Wobble Cushions and fidget toys. My vision is that my students will be able to choose an alternative seat when they leave my classroom for their Kindergarten class. This seat will stay with them for that day, week, or month depending on how long they need it. If the seat they tried isn't working, when they come to check in with me, it can be traded out because I will have enough for there to be many options. Giving my students a way to wiggle and move while they are sitting will increase their listening and participation. They will also get to stay with their peers in the Kindergarten class because they will not have to take as many movement breaks outside of the class.
