My school has a positive incentive program called PBIS. Students earn points for exhibiting expected behaviors and responsibilities. Students use their points to purchase activities and items as rewards. The prizes included in my project will be used for my personal classroom PBIS store. Students can also purchase or rent a computer mouse to assist them with their online science curriculum. I also teach a daily advisory period called Titan House Time. The purpose of this class is to build relationships, and the board games will help my students with that goal. As coach of the chess club, the new tournament style chess boards will offer my students a realistic experience to prepare them for competitions. The bins will be used to help store my new PBIS store items. The paper cutter will help me organize materials for my Science curriculum. Items purchased will assist me with building positive relationships with my students.
