Flexible seating helps students to feel that they have some control over their learning settings. During independent reading time or work time students are able to sit on the carpet or in their student desks. I would like to add these chairs as an option for them so they can feel that independent learning time is truly independent as they can choose where they sit and work. These chairs will also help students to feel that reading is something done for pleasure. These students deserve the best as they have overcome some pretty big obstacles to get here.

About my class
