These magnetic tiles will allow me to have a hands-on approach to multiple lessons throughout the year! Whenever I do in class projects or assignments off their chromebooks, I see more participation and willingness to learn. Being stuck at home for so long, students are craving real interactions, with people as well with their academics. G.SRT.B.5 (Unit 2.8 and 2.9) I'd use the triangles to show triangle congruency and parts of triangles. G.GMD.A.1 (All of Unit 7) I'd use these tiles to help students see how 3D objects are constructed and use composite area and volumes. The air purifier would allow me to have the peace of mind I'm keeping my students and myself as safe a possible as our schools do not have the most updated ventilation nor in-class windows we can open.
