Being able to put new books in the hands of my students will create excitement and renewed interest during our reading block. Several of the books will also be beneficial as we begin our next unit in reading which focuses on series book clubs. These books will provide my students with quality literature to choose from during independent reading that is at their just right reading level. Having the ability to choose books at their just-right level also requires an organized classroom library. So, we are also hoping to purchase some new book bins for our library through this project.

About my class
