Art has many benefits, especially for children. It increases fine motor skills and enhances creative problem-solving. In this time of COVID, it allows children to process some of the things that they are experiencing and dealing with emotions that cannot be handled in a traditional classroom setting. Art also encourages creativity and boosts confidence and self-esteem. Deciding what kind of art to make and what materials. Unfortunately, as art supplies get used and taken home, they do not self-replicate. This project will help provide art supplies for 330 students for a whole year. Benchmark Advance connects art with ELA for each unit and each grade level.
