Our students lost a sense of community during distance learning. The students are yearning for a place to come together and to reconnect with one another. I would like the library to be that place where students can use STEM equipment to learn from one another while utilizing some newly purchased STEM books. The science books lend nicely to these materials for creating, engaging, and collaborating with one another. I would also like the library to feel like home to the students. By providing some seating outside the normal classroom seating, the students can feel relaxed and at ease this is the reason for the unconventional seating ordered. I want the students to know that no matter what they always have a safe place in our library and it can be our go to hub where students can create and enjoy STEM books.
