The headsets will allow students to clearly hear themselves reading and allowing them to correct reading errors in words and fluency check. The students will be able to understand the importance of listening to words being read and spoken with understanding, and expression. They will learn to enjoy reading and listening to words being read from print to their mouths. Students will be able to choose just right books and hear themselves as they read their favorite stories. This will make independent reading more enjoyable and enrich their lives through listening to themselves read to self. This will help students to increase their reading fluency and levels at a faster rate, because they will learn what to listen for and how to correct the mistakes they make in reading. They will be able to receive immediate feedback from listening to themselves as well as myself and a reading partner or parent. It will be like listening to a book being read clearly for the first time.
