This school year has started as an emotional rollercoaster! On top of all the feelings and emotions of a normal school year, there are the added stresses of being back to school full-time, more students in the building, and trying to return to the old normal. The "A Little Spot" book series by Diane Alber takes feelings and emotions that are sometimes hard for children to grasp and understand, and not only discusses them in a relatable way, but also provides ways to handle and determine these feelings and emotions. By using these books and integrating them into our day to day curriculum, we will be able to better address these feelings and emotions and discuss strategies to handle and cope with them as well.
