Covid related protocols require helmets to be cleaned when shared or used by multiple students. These helmets will help decrease the time spend sanitizing helmets and reduce the potential spread of COVID-19. This also will allow more time for students to practice the welding skills and mastering Welding Technology content standards 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 10.0 and all associated performance standards. With the addition of these helmets, students can potentially take their assigned helmet home to further refine their skills in real world applications. This will allow for the continuation of curriculum in the event of further pandemic related school shutdowns.
