This is my first year teaching 4th grade at Arcadia Elementary School and I would love to expand my classroom library. Within the Arcadia School District, 64% of students are Hispanic. Therefore, most of the students in my class are multilingual learners with their first language being Spanish. I want my classroom to celebrate my students' heritage and for my students to have access to texts written in the language they speak at home. I currently only have 1 book written in Spanish in my classroom library and my students have requested more books written in Spanish. Please give my students access to literature written in Spanish!
