Most of my students have a lot of sensory needs. I go through ALOT of putty, slime, Flarp, Playdoh, fidgets, kinetic sand, moon sand. Most of my kids receive sensory breaks throughout the day to help them modulate/ focus on their educations. I need to supply the students with different means of sensory input. As many know, each kid needs to have his own set of"tools". On the other hand, there are students who are super sensitive to noise. There is a big need this year for noise canceling headphones, more than ever before. Enough about their sensory needs, I address so many different goals. Every child is unique and has their own set of unique goals. I work on handwriting, visual perceptual, fine motor, typing, strengthening, bilateral coordination goals, vocational, Activities of Daily Living.
