The batting cage will allow my students to use their fine and gross motor skills during Physical Education class while learning the game of baseball. Another skill that will be strengthened will be hand eye coordination. Students can progress skills in baseball due to the fluctuation of speed in the batting cage. Timing and tracking skills increase which can also be used in the general education classroom such as a language arts class. It will also benefit the school baseball team because a practice facility will be available at the school so students don't have to travel to outside facilities.
