The use of games, inspirational children's books, and social-emotional learning materials will help me engage my English Learners in a fun way, they won't even realize they are learning. This post-pandemic year our students need social interactions more than anything, what better way than learning and playing at the same time? With these materials, I will also help my students deal with emotions and teach them how to cope with them. This year has been extremely rough, trying to get our students back in school mode. After a year of distance learning, we need to reteach school procedures and it is difficult to engage them in our lessons. I plan on using these materials as brain breaks, playing and learning activities and inspiring them to become the best version of themselves.
