See a need. Fill a need. These materials will make a difference in my students' learning progression and comprehension skills. The classroom library that we are building will help my lower level readers reach their grade level Lexile goals and gain reading confidence. Additionally, my students with special needs will be able to checkout books to take home for reading log discussions with their parents. Students must complete 30 minute daily reading to improve reading comprehension and increase reading levels. The dry erase board is mobile. Therefore, it can be used around the classroom for different activities such as learning/writing stations, student presentations, displaying classroom lesson anchor charts, as a co-teaching tool and provide an extra space to write daily classroom instruction.
