The equipment purchased will be used to increase effective teaching in physical education. Best practices will show that each elementary student develops their gross and fine motor skills by repetitive practice. This cannot happen without the proper equipment to provide to each of our students. By each student having their own piece of equipment to use in class, they will increase their skill development while reducing wait time (wait time is the time a student is not active while waiting for their turn, and is directly related to behavior issues). With the proper equipment, students will be able to remain active for the entire fifty minutes and remain in line with the school district's policy for not sharing equipment. Students will also find responsibility in their education by maintaining and cleaning the equipment regularly.
