My students come to class practically vibrating with energy. When they are left to their own devices, that energy comes out in less-than-ideal ways. We've seen the TikTok trends this year with students taking out their frustrations and anxieties on the school around them. I think that if students are given more opportunities to move during the school day, we will see a decline in these behaviors. I have been implementing more movement breaks into my lessons, including yoga and outside brain breaks, but not every student responds well to every intervention. These seats would provide those students that need it most another way to meet their physical needs, so I can take care of their educational needs.
