We are looking at ways to strengthen our school community and center our work around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) which is why we would like to build a portion of our library to represent literature and art from the BIPOC community! Our students would love to see their culture and language represented more within the walls of our school! Along with addressing racial equity in our materials, we would like to build our library with authors from the LBGTQAI+ commiunity, authors with disabilities and authors who grew up in a range of socio-economic levels. Books may be checked out to enjoy as a family at house here on campus. We would like to invite families in to view and have access to the library as well.
