The resources I am asking for are meant to increase the collaborative time in the classroom. Project boards, construction paper, colored pencils, along with glue and tape will allow students to have access to various resources in order to produce projects they are excited about. Having power strips will give students the ability to work from their desks without fear of their chromebook running out of battery. Having the resources for the students in the classroom will increase the turn in rate and the quality of the work. Collaborative work is the at the core of students meeting the Nevada Academic Content Standards. It allows students to communicate and critique conclusions (SS.9-12.WH8-10) and then take informed action (SS9-12.WH11&12) and produce projects that are creative and a source of pride for the students who created them.
