I will feed 75 kids for several months with the money or food donated for this program. The students are special because they need food every weekend. This food would help them to have meals for the weekend. Backpack food programs provide nutritious, non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food to children to ensure they get enough food on weekends and holidays to avoid hunger. The organization does not receive state or federal funds. Instead, they rely on private and corporate donations and volunteers to run the backpack program. This would help with their education in that they can concentrate on their work and not being hungry.
