My students attend a public Montessori charter school in Pennsylvania. My students are in a multi-aged classroom ranging from ages 6-9. They live in a very low socio- economic environment and are hard working students who have high expectations for themselves. I have my students for a total of 3 years, and it allows me to see their academic progression along with their social gains. My students have rough home lives, and it affects the way they behave in school, along with the amount of resources they are able to obtain. My students are extremely grateful and willing to do anything to make their adults proud of them.
