My students are dedicated, motivated, but too often, denied the resources they need to truly excel. This year, we are adopting Common Core to get our Arkansas Delta students to a point where they can compete with their counterparts around the country. I firmly believe that as we explore literature from Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, my students will learn and appreciate nations other than our own-enhancing their literacy skills and their critical and analytical thinking skills.

About my class
