We will be working hard to overcome the emotional, social, and academic gaps that are the result of missing a year of in person kindergarten. Now we can learn to get along and work as a team. Standards addressed in this project include: Reading R.F. 1.3 - Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. I have included phonics games and small group sets to learn how to blend consonants, short vowels, long vowels, blends, digraphs, and R-controlled vowels. This variety will help each student in my class at the level they need to advance in their reading skills. I Can Games to enhance and practice their learning in a fun constructive way. I have included incentive charts to track and celebrate their progress. Reading R.F. & 1.4, RL 1.1 - This includes leveled books that each student can read independently and give my students a larger variety of books to read in our library. I Can Games to help with comprehension. Math K.G.A 1.OA.2 - 120 charts with numberlines and a space to solve a math problem. There will be enough for each student in my classroom. Dice sets to play math games. Pattern block patterns to creat pictures to help there geometry skills. Timers to give the students an understanting of time used in the real world. Health - 1.ME. 1.2 & 4.IC.1.1 - Ways to help my students adress cope with emotions. Fidget toys to help them calm down and prepare to join the class in active learning. Science K-2ETS1-2 Develop a physical model to illustrate how objects function to solve a problem. Marbleworks, magnetic shape, gears to help create the phy
