Flexible workspaces will allow students the ability to make their own choices in how they best work in the classroom. During independent work time, as well as during group work time, students will have the choice to chose their best learning space. They can choose to sit, stand, or do a combo of both with these spaces while they create their content. My students will have the chance to be more engaged in their learning while having the option to sit or stand. Allowing students to work in an environment that is most comfortable to them will motivate them to do their best work, and stay engaged with their tasks. The option to use these flexible workspaces will be available to all students. The mice will allow for replacements of current broken mice. This flexible seating will specifically support learning standards 6-8.EL.C.1 & 6-8.EL.D.1 as well as support numerous other ones.
