My students demonstrate delays in receptive and expressive language, speech sound production skills, social-emotional, fine/gross motor skills, and/or cognitive skills. Throughout the school year, the students learn about a variety of themes, such as the farm, the seasons of the year, holidays, food, families, bugs/insects, etc. The classroom is a language based setting. Every aspect of their day is set up to provide language enriching experiences. Activities that are hands-on provide wonderful opportunities for the students to grow in their receptive and expressive language skills. Affording materials to make this happen is always a challenge. The materials requested will enhance their language skills by providing tangible hands on activities.
