I am asking for this grant to support our STEAM lab in providing the hands-on materials they need to promote all the skills that STEAM hands-on materials can provide. There are so many activities that implement critical thinking, innovation, collaboration, and that yield high engagement, but it is tough to find or buy material for a group of 365 students as one teacher. I am interested in purchasing sustainable materials such as STEM-oriented Lego kits. These kits would be used over and over again and are highly engaging for all students. Our Deaf-Ed, vision impaired, autistic, ELL, and all other students would benefit from material like this for years to come. Please support us in moving forward with the funding we need to make our STEAM lab successful this year and for years to come!
