Because of the pandemic, students are unable to participate in learning on the carpet. Carpet time is essential for younger learners. It allows them to get out of their seats, experience a different perspective in the classroom, and engage more directly with their teacher and peers which deepens our sense of community. These flexible seating options would provide my kindergartners with the choice, comfort, and fun they deserve. I believe these seating options would yield more focus, as well as the collaboration and community that my students long for, all within the safety parameters of COVID-19. Please help enhance my kindergartners foundational educational experience within this overwhelming pandemic. Thank you!
