These materials will help fill the gaps that these students are facing in literacy. They will be able to take these books home and read with their families and build up fluency. In the classroom, they'll be able to have more options to read on their level. I just do not have enough books to meet the needs of these students. My current selection just is not big enough. I love making reading fun for my kids and if they have things on their level, then they will be more willing to pick a book up and read it on their own.
