Cafeterias can be overwhelming, especially if you are a new student. Lunchtime can be lonely if you can't find peers who share your interests. The Gaming Club at our high school offers an alternative space to meet friends. We are currently using a Nintendo Switch to play games, however, I have been told by my new crew of 9th graders - that I NEED to get an Xbox or PlayStation if I want to attract more students. They would like to form a club of competitive gamers. We would compete against each other within the school. They have also expressed an interest in competing against other high schools in NYC. We also have a variety of board games and card games for students who don't play E-games.
