Robotics will give the students hands on experience with real world coding and problem solving. With the direction technology is heading, coding is likely to be similar to a common language. We have a couple of robots for the class now but not enough for my larger classes to get a chance to use them. Circuits fit in perfectly with 8th grade standards. It allows the students to visualize and problem solve how circuits work. I have seen how excited my students get when they can do things for themselves, outside of Chromebook. These tools will be an effective way for them to have fun and learn as they go.
