I want to be able to provide each student in my class the use of a handheld graphing calculator. Many of our students cannot afford to purchase their own, and currently we are limited to just sharing. All of our math state tests, SAT, ACT, etc., require the use of a handheld calculator, so I want to make sure all of my students know how to use them. If I can provide a calculator for each student, it will help to build their skills, helps them learn to check their work, and become more successful. Having a class set will allow students who cannot afford their own, to check them out and use at home when needed.
