Oil painting is one of the most traditional and accepted forms of art making. When we are discussing art history, most of the artworks students encounter use this medium. Many often wish they could try oil painting too! Due to the ventilation generally needed or toxicity of certain paints students are not able to practice this medium at school. This brand of paints allows students to practice with oils in a safe and approachable way. They are like opaque watercolors that take longer to dry. This added drying time will allow students to develop their blending skills and add detail to their work.
