We will be building this school garden from scratch in a raised bed. We will be developing community and team-building skills; the kids will also have self-esteem benefits by having tangible outcomes for all of their hard work. They will also be cultivating leadership and critical thinking skills while checking on plant progress and troubleshooting what methods work and don't work for plant growth. Urban gardening has so many incredible physical and mental health benefits for our youth; please help us get this project started as soon as possible!

About my class
